FEES PER SESSION
The cost is $230 per session. If a person is referred by their doctor with a referral letter and a Mental Health Plan, a Medicare rebate of $137.05 is applied, leaving an out of pocket fee of $92.95.
Medicare currently provides this rebate for up to 10 sessions each year. Alternatively, rebates may be applicable through a private Health Fund and the amount will vary according to their cover. Patients who reach their annual Medicare Safety Net threshold may receive rebates of up to 80% of their fee. Additional charges may apply for tailored services such as home visits.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
You do not need a referral to see me, and can call or email me to make an initial private appointment at any time. However, if you are wishing to access a Medicare rebate for your treatment, a referral will need to be in place at the time of your appointment for you to be eligible.
CANCELLATION FEE
In order to maintain my high standards of service and the ability to provide flexible and time-sensitive appointments, I need to make maximum use of room availability. If you cannot make your session or need to cancel/reschedule, I ask you to please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice, or a fee of $110 (inc GST) will apply. This policy applies to all patients and makes it easier for everyone, including you, to get the earliest and most convenient appointments possible.
